Today is the last lesson of this course. In this lesson, I have learnt to use RSS, Podcasting and Mashups. My groupmates and I have tried to use this tools in our website. They are not so difficult to use. For the future of Web2.0, integration is a trend. Facebook is a website which integrates different kinds of Web2.0 tools. Moreover, these applications will move to mobile such as our mobile phone, PDA, notebooks, etc.
After the course, my group mates and I have learnt more about Web2.0. They can be used in different aspects such as promoting reading, stimulate students creativity and encourage collaboration. Web 2.0 is a valuable tools to introduce to our school.

In this lesson, I learn more about the on-line repositories and Multimedia libraries. As new century Teacher Librarian, they have to develop their digital tools in the libraries. I learned that the people can share their knowledge whatever through the internet. Implications for educational institutions Sharing of resources in our institutions (internal and external resource) Maximizing reuse, redevelopment, impact of exiting resources. Beyond standard meta-data Opening dialogue about resources reuse, benefits, pedagogical application. Enable social networking and creating environment -- repository as community center, connection to the world, not just a place to pick up or drop off stuff Integration with Learning Management Systems and other environment Concern with intellectual property issues.

在民國前幾年，知識分子們和革命的參與者尚為辛亥革命的成功推翻滿清而興奮不已，對辛亥革命的成就有較高的評價。不過，由於共和民主並沒有在辛亥革命後得到真正的實施，因而人們也從不同的角度作出反思。孫中山在1921年給俄羅斯外交人民委員齊契林的信中提到「現在我的朋友們都承認：我的辭職是一個巨大的政治錯誤」，孫中山在遺囑內也囑咐曰「革命尚未成功，同志仍需努力」。當時的知識分子認為政治革命不足以救中國，因此要進一步發動文化上的改革。

1920年代以後的國共兩黨，則對於辛亥革命有了較高的評價。國民黨視孫中山為中華民國的國父，視辛亥革命為其所領導成功的革命，賦予辛亥革命有極高的評價，辛亥革命是現代中國史的起點，是中國能發展成民主及現代的國家最重要的關鍵。

而共產黨雖然認爲辛亥革命由於資產階級的妥協性和軟弱性，只是推翻清朝的專制統治，沒有提出反對帝國主義、反對封建主義的主張，沒有建立共和體制，更沒有進行土地改革和深刻的社會革命，來達到平均地權的主張，而是在列強的壓力下，與代表舊勢力的袁世凱妥協，把勝利果實拱手相讓。但同時又認可辛亥革命是個具有階段性成就的革命，為後來進一步革命奠定基礎。例如劉少奇認為「辛亥革命使民主共和國的觀念從此深入人心」。周恩來指出「辛亥革命，推翻了清朝統治，結束了我國二千多年的君主專制制度，使人們在精神上獲得了空前的大解放，為以後革命的發展開闢了道路。這是一個偉大的勝利」。何香凝認為「辛亥革命是一個偉大的勝利，它摧毀了兩千多年的君主專制制度，在廣大人民中傳播了民主共和國思想的種子，促進了中國人民革命鬥爭的新發展」。其後馬克思主義史學的史家，多把辛亥革命視為中國資產階級革命，亦即社會主義革命之前所需要的前一階段的革命。這種以視辛亥革命為正面意義的想法，1950年代以後的海峽兩岸，都是主流的觀點。

一直要到了1980年代晚期到1990年代，才開始有人對這種以革命是正面甚至是「革命崇拜」的想法作出反省，例如中國的思想史家李澤厚、劉再復等人，認為在20世紀初的中國，保留君主的漸進改革比暴力的革命更能使中國在穩定中發展，袁世凱、康梁、嚴復、楊度等君主立憲的主張比孫中山更適合於當時的中國。台灣的歷史學者也開始對國民黨加諸於「辛亥革命」的一些「神話」作消解，重新評估辛亥革命的價值和作用。

西方學者，漢學家和歷史學家對辛亥革命也有很多研究。著名漢學家費正清評價辛亥革命僅僅是「政體的變革」，而「基本是上一場失敗」。高慕柯認為辛亥革命是一場大於它所有領袖的革命，是一次「沒有真正領導者的革命」。

哥倫比亞大學教授納散尼爾·佩弗（Nathaniel Petter）對辛亥革命以及辛亥革命試圖建立起的共和整體給予很低的評價：「1911年在中國建立起美國共和政體的仿製品，真是荒唐可笑。……那一種共和政體是一個大失敗，因為它在中國的歷史、傳統、政治經歷、制度、天性、信仰觀念或習慣中毫無根據地。它是外國的、空洞的，是附加在中國之上的。它隨著時間的推移很快就被除去。它不代表政治思想，只是政治思想的一幅漫畫，一幅粗糙的、幼稚的、小學生的漫畫。……這種共和政體悲慘地結束了，即悲慘地失敗了。然而，失敗的並不是共和政體……而是一代人。」

I have learnt social bookmarking and social repositories in this lesson. Social bookmarking is a method for internet users to store, organize, search and manage bookmarks of web pages on the internet with the help of metadata. Many web sites such as del.liio.us and clipmarks can have this function. YouTube, TeacherTube, flickr, slideshare are examples of social repositories. We can share the resources by these tools.

After this lesson, I know more about the Web and blogs which perform as an important role in our teaching and learning mold today. It can support up-to-date information from internet world. Web as a point of presence, internet-mediated social environments and also as a platform. For example: Microsoft and Google, where build up the blogs for the users, who can interact and communicate with each other through the internet. Today, the education reform emphasis information technological to support the education. By marking, the language education, such as Chinese and English, the EDB suggested that the teachers can build up the blogs, which post up study materials. Let the students to down load the study materials, and the teachers can through this kind of communication tools to contact their students immediately. I am highly recommending this study mold.

Web 2.0 is a term describing the trend in the use of World Wide Web technology and web design that aims to enhance creativity, information sharing and collaboration among users. These concepts have led to the development and evolution of web-based communities and hosted services such as blogs and wikis. We can create our own blog without technical skills. We can create our blog after become a member of some web sites such as yahoo, blogger, sina, etc. It is a web-based publication. It can contain text, media and links. Wiki is social software that allows collaborative development on an article of common interest to its authors. There are many other new inventions available on the internet such as RSS and podcasting. There are many educational implications of their invention. Teachers need to provide students opportunities to learn these new technology in order to make students knowledge well connect with the world. Moreover, it encourage the sharing and collaborating between students, and teachers as well. The assessment form can also be changed from paper work to multimedia easily. Web 2.0 can help students and teachers a lot.
